FEED ME, solo exhibition 2023

I had the honor of exhibiting a body of work at Francis Marion University’s Gately Gallery 6/26/23 - 8/10/23

This project is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is also funded in part by a generous award from the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of The Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina

"FEED ME" reflects my creative obsessions. Color and form conspire in fascinating ways. I'm routinely blown away by the massive impact that very subtle adjustments can make in any given composition. The process of comparing, contrasting, and tweaking feels a lot like making careful calculations, or like choreography.

"Color Choreography" is my deliberate approach to studying the relationships between form and color. I use pattern, shape, texture and proportion to explore endless possibilities. Because the slightest change in hue makes all the difference, I custom mix each color of these compositions.

Origin dates of the FEED ME inventory range from 2020, when I first began my color choreography approach, to 2023.
