The Three Piñas

Over this weekend, I finished a fun project: the three piñas. It all began with really needing a headboard, or something to frame the bed.  My bed is very low so that my old lady, Dani Girl, can jump up with ease. But this means theres some awkward wall space to fill. I settled on completing a fun and colorful series of pineapples to complement the bohemian vibe already going on...

I had so much fun completing these and love how they turned out; I definitely plan on painting some more!  These piñas are available for sale, and Dani seems very pleased with them hanging in the bedroom for the meantime...

"Vintage" by JDeckman

My sister Tracy recently moved back home to Annapolis, Maryland.  She took some pictures of her new digs and how she helped to decorate the house she now shares with some family.  It made me smile to see a bunch of pieces I've done throughout the years, some of which I completely forgot about!

It's fun to see how other people choose to display my work. Honestly, it's quite an honor to be welcomed into someone's home; makes me feel happy and humbled.

Looking at "vintage" stuff gives me fresh inspiration for the studio.  Cant wait to get to it this weekend!
